Our ICT program gives the youth access to the internet and digital technologies, providing them with new relevant skills greatly increasing their opportunities toward acquiring employment and/or successful entrepreneurial endeavors.
In the developed world we take being connected for granted. Our devices bring us access to the world of information, communication, health care, education, job and business opportunities.
“Today knowledge has power. It controls access to opportunity and advancement.”
Peter Drucker
While many economies in Africa are growing and have need of skilled ICT workers, over 86% of Africa’s population still has no Internet access. Millions of young women and men living in regions of rural Africa still have no internet or ICT knowledge or training. They have been left out of the internet revolution and access to improved education, employment, communication and empowerment.
